In my life, I have tried numerous different forms of treatment, certainly most of what is available. I discovered Reiki about ten years ago when I was on a yoga and relaxation retreat at a wellness center in Finland. The treatment usually works in such a way that it relaxes, increases vitality, brings balance, helps the body and mind to function better, relieves pain and supports healing. According to the currently known laws of quantum physics, energy healing near and far is quite natural, because two particles can affect each other from a distance also in the physical, material world, because all particles in the universe are connected to each other by the Higgs Field.
Every year, science is proving more and more that energy healings are a real, effective form of treatment, and as the research tools develop, we are constantly getting new research results on how everything affects everything, and what energy is. We must remember that we do not know and cannot scientifically prove absolutely everything - we only know as scientific truth what we have the opportunity to study with today's equipment. Still, that doesn't mean that things don't exist. As recently as 200 years ago, the theory of the existence of bacteria was ridiculed, even though the microscope was invented in 1670, after which the existence of bacteria and their effect on the early emergence of infections was proven. Over time, the understanding grew, and now we all wash our hands daily and know why it's good to do so. I believe that the understanding of energy will increase in the same way in the future, eventually becoming an everyday thing.
