Natural Ekological Remedies
I offer gentle, relaxing, balancing, body- and mind-pampering natural treatments from head to toe. I offer herbal dumpling massages and foot baths using organically grown plants and wild herbs from my own half-hectare garden, as well as herbal hot stone massages. At the moment, natural remedies are available separately ordered, as agreed packages for events and occasions.
In herbal dumpling treatments, the body or face is gently massaged with warmed, dense, spherical dumplings made of cotton fabric, which are packed with plenty of familiar and safe Finnish wild herbs such as birch, plantain, nettle, goutweed and yarrow, as well as herbs that I have grown, collected and dried myself, such as calendula and sage. The herbal bundle treatment can be done like a traditional massage on bare skin, or if you want a treatment where you don't have to take off your clothes, I can do the massage with warm dumplings by pressing and brushing through the clothes without oil as well.
In hot stone massage, the treatment is done with warm smooth stones, which are slided and pressed carefully through the muscles. The heat intensifies the effect of the massage, allowing it to reach deeper into the tissues.
For all treatments, herbs, massage and treatment oils are selected to suit you according to your needs and situation. Heated herbs give off a natural, wonderful, mild but powerful scent, which in itself is really caring and relaxing.
I have studied various traditional natural ways to care for and relax the body and mind all my adult life. I have learned that the mind, body and soul are a harmonious whole, where each part affects the other, and all parts should be taken into account. When we treat one, the other parts always benefit as well.
My style of treating and encountering is intuitive, competent, empathetic and safe. You can come to treatment just as you are and at the point in your life that you are, just as tired or refreshed, with joys or sorrows, or even completely empty. You are warmly welcome.
